Prilikom potpuno idiotske amaterske pljačke zlatare sve odlazi dođavola, i pljačkaše bez plena nagazi policija odmah ispred zlatare. Usled opšte ludnice i bežanije, jedan od smotanih pljačkaša beži od policije u obližnji soliter ne bi li se sakrio dok ne prođe potera. Medjutim, u dotičnom soliteru je skrovište sasvim drugačije, sadističke bande zloglaslnih krimosa (bliži terorizmu) i policija u potrazi za onim magarećim pljačkašem naleće zapravo na jednog od njih i stvari već tu gube kontrolu. Ostatak okorele ekipe koja je veselo posmatrala jurnjavu za lopovčićima, naglo vadi arsenal oružja i pomaže bekstvo njihovog ortaka uz mahnitu pucnjavu i mnogo ubijenih i ranjenih pubova, nespremnih na takav okršaj. Potom dolazimo do centralnih likova ove priče…policijskog inspektora Kena (Simon Yam) koji vodi svoj tim ka rešavanju ovog slučaja. U timu je takođe njegov brat (Lau Ching Wan), vedar, brbljiv, društven…sve ono što Ken ostavlja iza sebe posvećujući se poslu.
