Diegov san je da se njegova postignuća u video igricama pretvore u istraživanja iz stvarnog života. On je kreativan i radoznao klinac, pronalazač i vođa svoje grupe prijatelja. Diego će provesti leto sa svojim prijateljima u kampu koji vodi Pompilio Calderon, ekscentrični i poznati istraživač. Tamo pronalaze medaljon koji je pripadao Poli, Dijegovoj baki. Prateći njene stope, otkriće neke ruševine i misteriozni portal do "Dimenzije Vern", paralelnog univerzuma koji simbolizira ono što bi naša planeta mogla biti da nije bilo destruktivne pohlepe čovečanstva. Svi će doživeti neverovatne avanture u nameri da pomognu Pola da uravnoteži obe dimenzije i spasi planetu od katastrofe.
