'The Thick of It' je britanski političko-satirični televizijski sitkom koji se od 2005. emitira na programu BBC-ja.
Radnja je smještena u sjedište fiktivnog britanskog ministarstva koje vodi ministar Hugh Abbot, čija nastojanja
da samostalno provodi politiku suzbija Malcolm Tucker, brutalni i bezobzirni 'utjerivač' politike u službi premijera.
Specifičnost serije je korištenje cinema verite stila, odnosno odsutstvo muzike i nasnimljenog smijeha, te živopisni
jezik prepun psovki. Dosad je snimljeno 14 epizoda po 30 i dvije posebne epizode po sat vremena.

Seriju je stvorio škotski komičar Armando Ianucci, pri čemu mu je osnovna zamisao bila stvoriti novu verziju Yes Minister
za 21. vijek. Serija, čija se četvrta sezona treba prikazati u jesen 2012. godine, je dobila brojne pohvale, ali i nekoliko
spin offa. Godine 2009. je snimljen igrani film In the Loop u kome se pojavljuju likovi iz serije, a godine 2012. se počela
emitirati i američka TV-serija Veep koja predstavlja njen neslužbeni remake.
