Prošlo je godina dana od kada je Ema (Izabela Ferari) napustila svog muža policajca Antonija (Valerio Mastandrea) da bi krenula da živi u stanu njene majke sa svojom ćerkom adolescentom Valentinom (Nikol Mugria) i svojim sinom Kevinom (Gabrijel Paolino).
