Svojevrsna moderna adaptacija priče o Odiseju čiji je glavni lik neimenovan filmski redatelj. Iako već godinama živi i radi u SAD-u, vratio se u rodnu Grčku gdje se prikazuje njegov najnoviji film. Zbog kontroverzne teme očekuju ga prosvjednici, te bi zbog sigurnosti bilo najbolje da napusti grad. No, pravi razlog njegova povratka zapravo je potraga za izgubljenim filmom braće Manakis, snimljenim početkom dvadesetog stoljeća.
