    Sinopis

    Možda najbolji iz serije sjajnih RKO - ovih horrora koje je u četrdesetim godinama producirao Val Lewton, "Sedma žrtva" je iznenađujuće moderan, poetski zlosretan film.

    Naivno siroće Mary Gibson (Kim Hunter) dolazi na Manhattan tražeći svoju čudniju stariju sestru Jacqueline (Jean Brooks) i doznaje da je ona povezana sa sektom pomodnih sotonista koji je sada žele natjerati na samoubojtvo jer je izdal njihov kult.

    Režiser Mark Robson je postavio nekoliko sjajnih napetih sekvenci sa puno neobičnih elemenata koji i danas predstavljaju svježinu (skupina različitih lezbijskih likova, dvoje sotonista koji se pokušavaju riješiti mrtvoga tijela u prepunome podzemnom vlaku, glavna junakinja koja nije baš tako nevinašce...) .
