Опис:

Džon Čendler je vojni veteran iz Građanskog rata. Živi u malom gradu sa sinom koji je usled šoka doživljenog za vreme rata ostao nem i od tada ni reč nije progovorio. Džon luta svuda u potrazi za doktorom koji bi mogao da pomogne njegovom sinu. Usput, on radi na farmi lepe Linet Mur da bi joj pomogao da otplati dug bogatom lokalnom stočaru. Džon se zaljubljuje u nju i zaklinje da će joj zaštiti imanje od pohlepnih razbojnika. U jeku borbi, njegovom sinu će se povratiti glas.
