Britanski crno-beli ratni film snimljen 1957. u režiji Roja Varda Bekera. Temelji se na istoimenoj knjizi Kendala Burta i Džejmsa Lisora, odnosno prikazuje stvarne događaje koji su se zbili za vreme Drugog svetskog rata. Naslovni protagonista, čiji lik tumači Hardi Kruger je nemački lovački pilot koji za vreme bitke za Britaniju biva oboren i završava u britanskom zarobljeništvu. Radnja prikazuje njegove spektakularne pokušaje bega, koji će na kraju uroditi plodom. Zahvaljujući nastupu u ovom filmu, Kruger je postao međunarodna filmska zvezda.
