Опис:

Na teritoriji indijanskog plemena Apača u Arizoni 1873. godine, dok beži pred trojicom progonitelja, okretni Comanche Todd (R. Widmark) u obračunu s njima, dvojicu ubije, da bi ga na kraju savladao Bull Harper (G. Mathews), šerif iz grada Old Creeka. Odlučan privesti Todda, koji je ubio trojicu njegove braće, šerif Harper se vrlo grubo odnosi prema zarobljeniku, čak i kad nedugo potom naiđu na karavan doseljenika. Reč je o karavani koju vodi pukovnik severnjačke vojske William Normand (D. Kennedy), a u kojoj su uglavnom žene i deca. Među ostalima, tu su i njegove ćerke Valinda (S. Griffin) i Jolie (S. Kohner), tamnoputa devojka iz pukovnikovog prvog braka s Indijankom...
