The Flight of the Phoenix (1965)

Glavni lik priče je kapetan Frenk Tauns, pilot čiji C-119 teretnjak, u kome su radnici sa naftnih bušotina, ne može da izađe na kraj sa peščanom olujom i ruši se usred nedođije. Prepušteni sami sebi u pustinji Gobi, Frenk i njegov navigator imaće problema da uspostave red među preživelima. Radnici koji su putovali sa Frenkom očekivali su da će rutinski obaviti posao zatvaranja bušotina koje nisu ostvarile očekivanu produktivnost. Poslednje što su očekivali jeste da će morati da se bore za sopstveni život.
