Опис:

"Dan Trifida" je priča o razvoju biljaka koje služe za dobijanje goriva i koje imaju sposobnost da se same kreću, a poseduju i žaoku kojom mogu da ubiju živa bića, zbog čega se gaje na zatvorenim plantažama. Međutim, Zemlju pogađa meteorski pljusak i svi koji su gledali spektakularni nebeski vatromet preko noći su oslepeli. Priča potom prati malobrojne ljude koji nisu oslepeli i koji će pokušati da sačuvaju civilizaciju.
