The Case of the Howling Dog (1934)

Nervozan čovjek koji se zove Cartwright uđe u Perryjev ured jer želi da mu uhite susjeda zbog psa koji zavija. Tvrdi da je zavijanje znak da smrt vreba u susjedstvu. Također želi sastaviti oporuku kojom sve ostavlja dami iz susjedne kuće. Cijeli je slučaj zavijen u maglu i do sljedećeg dana oporuka mu je promijenjena i Cartwright je nestao, kao i dama iz susjedne kuće. Perry ima oporuku i predujam i mora saznati je li Cartwright bio klijent ili korisnik oporuke.
