The Bravados (1958)

Rančer Jim Douglass (G. Peck) doživeo je porodičnu tragediju kada su mu četvorica odmetnika brutalno ubili suprugu. Od tada Jim neumorno traga za ubicama pri čemu ga put dovodi do gradića o čijoj sigurnosti brine šerif Sanchez (H. Rudley). Od njega saznaje da se u gradu priprema vešanje četvorice zlikovaca u kojima Jim prepozna ljude koje i sam hvata. Međutim, oni beže iz zatvora otevši Emmu (K. Gallant), ćerku lokalnog preduzetnika. Uz pomoć ranjenog šerifa i svoje stare ljubavi Josefe (J. Collins), Jim odluči stati na čelo potere za beguncima koje predvodi Bill Zachary (S. Boyd). Jim pronalazi prvu dvojicu begunaca, ali ga pokoleba tvrdnja jednog od njih da oni nemaju nikakve veze s ubistvom njegove supruge...
