Опис:
Elisabethi Junker (Margarethe von Trotta) je preko glave života domaćice. Ona napušta muža, lektora Hans-Helmuta (Friedhelm Ptok) i započinje samostalan život. Prvo se dokazuje kao dobra domaćica i prodavačica, a zatim pokušava izgraditi karijeru kao pomoćnica jednog historičara umjetnosti - ali se pri tom mora boriti s nametljivim ponašanjem svog novog šefa, koji od nje očekuje seksualne usluge. Osim sa svojim okruženjem, koje nema nimalo razumijevanja za njen pokušaj emancipacije, takođe ima problema i sa svojim bivšim mužem, koji želi poreći njeno skrbništvo nad sinom.
