Pustolovni nijemi film. Kralj Rikard Lavljeg Srca otišao je u Križarski rat i svojem bratu Johnu ostavio je upravljanje zemljom. Međutim, princ John je ubrzo prema podanicima pokazao svoju tiransku narav. Suprostavivši se takvoj vlasti, vojvoda od Huntingdona postao je Robin Hood i sa svojom družinom pljačkao bogate i dijelio siromašnima...
Prvi film o Robinu Hoodu snimljen je prije više od 100 godina, točnije 1908., i od tada do danas bio je tema u šezdesetak što filmova što serija.

"Robin Hood" iz 1922. godine bio je jedan od ondašnjih najskupljih filmova, a u glavnoj ulozi je nastupao Douglas Fairbanks, velika filmska zvijezda, koji je bio i jedan od scenarista. Kritike su bile vrlo povoljne.
