Komedija. Solange (C. Laure) je u depresiji, prestala se smijati, jede malo, a još manje govori. Njezin muž Raoul (G. Depardieu) ide tako daleko da nema ništa protiv Solangeinog ljubavnika Stephanea (P. Dewaere), tek nadu da će od toga živnuti. Svi oko nje su uvjereni da joj treba dijete, pa su ova dvojica prionula. Međutim, u ljetnom kampu gdje njih troje rade Raoul i Stephane su ostali u sjeni trinaestogodišnjeg Christiana (R. Liebman) koji je vratio osmijeh na Solangeino lice...
Film je 1978. osvojio Oscara za najbolji film na neengleskom jeziku.
