Опис:

Sovjetski crno-bijeli ratni film snimljen 1933. u režiji Borisa Barneta. Radnja je smještena u mali ruski grad čije stanovništvo na početak prvog svjetskog rata reagira sa patriotskim oduševljenjem, da bi potom počelo preispitivati svoje stavove nakon što u grad počnu dolaziti njemački zarobljenici. Okrajina je prvo zvučno ostvarenje u karijeri Borisa Barneta, a historičarima je zanimljivo i zbog eksplicitno pacifističke orijentacije, prilično slične trendovima kojima su tada dominirali američkom i zapadnoevropskom kinematografijom.

Godine 1998. je u suvremenoj Rusiji snimljen njegov istoimeni remake. [wiki]
