Опис:
U ovom naučno-fantastičnom filmu katastrofe, Sovjeti i Amerikanci udružuju snage da bi spasili svet od meteora. Bredli (Šon Koneri) je američki naučnik koji se udružuje sa Dubovim (Brajan Kit) i njegovom pomoćnicom, prevodiocem Tatjanom (Natali Vud), koja će se kasnije zaljubiti u Bredlija. Plimski talasi pogađaju Hong Kong i Njujork sa teškim posledicama dok se naučnici trkaju s vremenom u pokušaju da spreče globalnu katastrofu. Iako se u filmu nalazi odlična glumačka ekipa, niko se nije posebno istakao i prava zvezda ovog filma su specijalni efekti. Ovaj film je doživeo finansijski debakl na bioskopskim blagajnama, iako je imao i nominaciju za Oskara u kategoriji najbolji zvuk.
