Novembar je 1989. godine. Berlinski zid se ruši. U Stavangeru u Norveškoj, Jarle Klep nije ni svestan da će se sve uskoro promeniti. Do sad je imao sve što je hteo: Najbolju devojku na svetu i najboljeg ortaka na svetu. Ubrzo oni osnivaju najžešći pank bend u Stavangeru, Matijas Rust Bend. Ali onda se pojavi Ingve, novi momak u odeljenju. Zabavna i dramatična komedija o sazrevanju sa muzikom nekih od vodećih rok grupa tog perioda, poput Stone Roses, The Cure, REM, Japan, The Jesus and Mary Chain i Joy Division.
