Опис:

Film je poznat po antologijskim plesno-muzičkim točkama Busbyja Berkeleya zbog kojih je postao jedno od klasičnih ostvarenja žanra te predstavlja remake ranog zvučnog filma Gold Diggers of Broadway, a radnja prati napore četvoro plesačica da prežive nastupom u kazalištu i da se dodatno osiguraju pronašavši bogatog muža među publikom.
Na radnju filma je snažno uticala Velika depresija, a što se posebno može vidjeti u ironičnom muzičkom broju 'We Are in the Money', ali i završnoj točci 'Remember My Forgotten Man' u kojoj se na neobično eksplicitan način prikazuju posljedice sveopćeg siromaštva na američkim ulicama.
