Опис:

Zovem se Dylan Hunt. Moja priča započinje onog dana kad sam umro. Autor Zvjezdanih staza Gene Roddenberry donosi fanovima još jednu uzbudljivu priču o budućnosti.
Hunt (Alex Cord) se budi nakon 154 godine hibernacije u postapokaliptičnom svijetu podijeljenom između miroljubivih građana Paxa i militaristički nastrojenih mutanata Tyraniansa. Obje strane žele Hunta zbog svojih interesa. Tyraniansi imaju dva oružja kojim love Hunta: uređaj za mučenje stim i privlačnu mutanticu (Mariette Hartley) s dva pupka... i jednim ledenim srcem.
Postanak II. je prvi od tri filma Genea Roddenberryja kojima je 1970-ih pokušavao pokrenuti futurističku seriju filmova. Drugi je Planet Zemlja, a treći Čudni novi svijet.
