Legenda kaže da je sveti kristal izvor svega života i da je stvoren na početku vremenu. Kajla je tražio kristal da bi sebično iskoristio njegove moći, pa ga uzme nakon što je sredio branioce na planeti Sintarija. Ali na Zemlji se nalazi identičan kristal, pa Ladera krene tamo da dođe do njega pre zlog Kajla. Sazna da je Džed uzeo kristal sa svog tajnog mesta, ali Viktor i njegove neumorne ubice žele ga za novac koji su dali Džedu. Ladera lako sredi slabe Zemljane i spase Džeda, ali i Kajla je tu zbog kristala. Džed i Ladera moraju da nađu kristal pre Kajla, beskorisnih pandura ili naivnih zlobnika.
