Опис:

Po završetku Drugog svetskog rata Britanci i dalje kontrolišu Palestinu i ne dopuštaju naseljavanje Jevreja. Ari Ben Kanan, pripadnik umerene cionističke struje, pokušava da dovede brod sa jevrejskim izbeglicama u Palestinu, što mu na kraju, uz pomoć Amerikanke Kiti Fremont, i uspeva. U Palestini, Arijev otac Barak Ben Kanan na čelu je pokreta za stvaranje države Izrael, ali istovremeno održava dobre odnose sa lokalnim Arapima. Ali Barakov brat Akiva na čelu je terorističke organizacije Irgun koja ne preza od nasilnih akcija primarno usmerenih protiv britanskih vlasti...

Exodus je američki historijski film snimljen 1960. u režiji Otta Premingera. Predstavlja adaptaciju
istoimenog romana Leona Urisa, inspiriranog istinitim događajima vezanim uz brod SS Exodus.
Radnja se događa u Palestini pod britanskom vlašću u godinama nakon Drugog svjetskog rata.
Protagonist, čiji lik tumači Paul Newman, je mladi cionistički aktivist koji organizira ilegalno
doseljavanje jevrejskih izbjeglica u Palestinu, a potom sudjeluje u nastojanju da se stvori
