Опис:

Ratna drama snimljena prema romanu Manfreda Gregora o sedmorici sedamnaestogodišnjaka koji su, pred sam kraj rata, izvučeni iz školskih klupa, unovačeni i poslani da brane most na ulazu u selo.
Nitko u stvari ne zna do kada će sedmorica školaraca stražariti uz most i zašto, ali nitko i ne očekuje da će zaista biti u situaciji da brane most. Svima je, u stvari, jasno da je rat već izgubljen, no mladići se ne smiju micati s mosta. Kad se i zadnje njemačke jedinice povlače i prijeđu most, oni i dalje ostaju na položajima, jer ne žele biti kukavice i izgubiti čast...
Film je bio nominiran za Oscara kao najbolji strani film, a osvojio je Zlatni globus kao najbolji strani film.
