In an isolated island in Indonesia, an expedition is apparently seeking the legendary Yamashita's Gold. Out of the blue, they are attacked and seek refugee in an abandoned Japanese bunker. Soon they discover that the place was a secret laboratory in the World War II where the prisoners were guinea pig in weird experiments. Further, they are trapped inside with strong and resistant creatures created by these experiments. Will they succeed to escape from the dead mine?

HBO Asia i Infinite Studios su se po prvi puta udružili u ko-produkciji jednog filma kako bi nam predstavili indonezijski akcijski horor Dead Mine, a on nam dolazi od producenta, scenariste i redatelja Stevena Sheila, inače redatelja hvaljenog horor trilera Mum & Dad. U glavnim ulogama je Ario Bayu kojeg ste imali prilike gledati u filmovima Macabre, The Forbidden Door, Dead Time: Kala, Darah garuda – Merah putih II, a pojavit će se i u nadolazećem filmu Java Heat, u kojem će glumiti s Mickey Rourkeom i Kellan Lutzom. Od ostalih glumaca tu su još Sam Hazeldine, (klik na sliku) kojeg se sigurno sjećate iz filma The Raven pa zatim James Taenaka kojg ste imali prilike gledati u filmovima poput American Yakuza, The Shadow i Kung Fu Killer, ali to nije sve, tu je još Joe Taslim kojeg se sigurno sjećate iz filma The Raid: Redemption, u ulozi Jake (klik na sliku) i Miki Mizuno koju ste pak mogli gledati u Gamera 2: Attack of the Legion A Slit-Mouthed Woman itd. Na vizualnim efektima će raditi Dayne Cowan koji dobro zna raditi svoj posao..Nabrojat ću sam neke filmove na kojima je radio, a radio je kao visual effects supervisor na filmu The Reader, 3D supervisor na filmu Batman Begins. CG supervisor na filmu Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince digital effects artist na filmu Blade II itd. Film po viđenom u trejleru podsjeća prvenstveno na film Outpost, ali i na filmove kao što su The Devil’s Rock, The Squad, The Bunker, War of the Dead itd. Iako je ovo indonezijski film, on je snimljen na engleskom jeziku, a kino premijera ovog filma je već održana 27. rujna 2012. u Singaporu.

Priča se vrti oko lovaca na blago koji putuju doboku u indonezijsku đunglu u potrazi za izgubljenim Yamashitinim blagom., ali tamo se nađu zarobljeni u napuštenom japanskom bunkeru iz Drugog svjetskog rata.Jedini mogući izlaz se nalazi na drugoj strani, ali to ne bi bilo tako strašno da se u bunkeru ne nalaze neki WTF? samurajski mutanti/zombiji.
