Clark i Lisa su mladi zaljubljeni par koji se voze bespućima ruralne Amerike. Nakon što uzimaju kraticu kroz iznimno nenaseljeno područje, naleću na stotine zmija koje leže nasred ceste. U panici preleću preko njih, ali jedna od malih gmizavica ulazi u auto. Na lokalnoj benzinskoj pumpi uskoro saznajemo da američka vojska na tom dijelu radi nuklearne testove, te da zmije pod utjecajem radijacije “popizdile”. Clarka uskoro ugriza jedna od njih i život mu se od tada mijenja na gore – ugriz Clarkovu ruku postepeno počinje mutirati u zmiju. [horror.hr]
