"Žrtve ljubavi" dvosatna je drama temeljena na slučaju šesnaestogodišnje Amy Fisher koja je ustrijelila ženu svoga navodnog ljubavnika Joeyja Buttafuoca u kolovozu 1992. godine. Treći televizijski film prikazuje vezu opasne Lolite Amy Fisher (Alyssa Milano) s automehaničarom Joeyjem Buttafuocom (Jack Scalia). U prvome je filmu (u kojem glumi Noelle Parker) priča prikazana s gledišta Amy Fisher, u drugome (s Drew Barrymore u glavnoj ulozi) s gledišta javnosti, a ova, ujedno i treća verzija pokazuje gledište obitelji Buttafuoco
