Опис:

Bizetova opera kao plesni film u ritmu flamenka. Koreograf i redatelj Antonio (Antonio Gades) radi sa svojom plesnom družinom na uprizorenju Bizetove opere Carmen. U potrazi je za plesačicom za naslovnu ulogu koja bi ispunila njegovu viziju Carmen. Obilazi plesne škole i mjesta gdje se izvodi flamenko kako bi je našao. Nalazi je u plesnoj školi kao još neiskusnu mladu plesačicu, koja se također zove Carmen (Laura del Sol) i koja ga osvaja svojom ćudi koja je nalik onoj Carmeninoj. Što su pokusi intenzivniji, Antonio i Carmen i sami doživljavaju priču o ljubavi i izdaji.
