Опис:
Radnja je smeštena u 1944 godinu, u vojnu bolnicu u Arizoni, tačnije u njen psihijatrijski deo. Captain Josiah Newman je doktor i upravnik tog odeljenja koji se služi nekim novim metodama pomoću kojih pokušava da pomogne i izleči vojnike koji pate od post traumatskog stresa. Kao pomoćnik stiže mu bolničar Jackson Leibowitz koji svojim civilnim veštinama unosi novi, pozitivni, duh. Tu je i Francie Corum, glavna sestra na susednom odeljenju za ranjenike.
