Опис:

Američka crno-bijela filmska komedija snimljena 1937. u režiji Sama Wooda, koja se često navodi kao posljednje klasično ostvarenje u filmografiji braće Marx. U njemu Groucho Marx tumači veterinara koji, izdajući se za ljekara, vodi sanatorijum i pokušava "izmusti" njenu bogatu vlasnicu. A Day at the Races je napravljen po sličnom modelu kao Noć u operi, raniji hit braće Marx, te je postigao veliki uspjeh. Kasniji kritičari su ga, pak, smatrali inferiornim u odnosu na ranije filmove. To se često tumači kao posljedica iznenadne smrti producenta Irvinga Thalberga, koja je usred snimanja Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer bacila u kaos. [wiki]
