Američka crno-bijela horor filmska komedija snimljena 1959. u režiji Rogera Cormana, poznat kao jedno od najpopularnijih ostvarenja u njegovoj filmografiji, kao i po tome što uživa kultni status.
Scenario je napisao Charles B. Griffith, djelomično inspiriran starim hollywoodskim horor filmom Mystery of the Wax Museum iz 1933. godine, a djelomično vlastitim promatranjem tadašnje beatničke supkulture u Južnoj Kaliforniji. Protagonist, čiji lik tumači Dick Miller, je Walter Paisley, skromni konobar u lokalu u kome se okupljaju beatnici i boemi, a koje pokušava impresionirati vlastitim umjetničkim djelima. Radnja prikazuje kako mu bizarna nesreća da ideju da počne ubijati ljude kako bi njihova trupla koristio za izradu skulptura. [wiki]
